Raisingchildren.net.au provides free, reliable, up-to-date and independent information to help your family grow and thrive together. They are funded by the Australian Government, reviewed by experts and non-commercial, meaning they are completely trustworthy.

Designed for busy families and full of tips and tricks for you to try, their content is easy to find and easy to digest. They have the answers to hundreds of parenting questions, where and when you need them.

Their articles, videos and interactive resources are tailored to different ages and stages, taking you from nurturing a newborn to raising a confident, resilient teen – and helping you to look after yourself as a parent too.

 
 

activ learning & discovery centre

Noah's Ark WA and Activ Library have merged to create an amazing new service known as Activ Learning and Discovery Centre. 

The ALDC is located on 71 Jarrah Road in East Victoria Park, and is open Wednesday to Friday, 9.30am - 3.00pm. 

Professional advice and access to play based resources will be available from 9.30am - 12.30pm. 

The centre is also open on the 1st Saturday of each month from 10.00am - 1.00pm.

Whether you want to improve your overall sense of wellbeing, or you need help with something that is concerning you, or you are helping someone you care about—Head to Health can point you to great online mental health resources.

 

Playgroup WA - Playconnect

PlayConnect Playgroups are designed for families with a child aged from 0-6 years that has Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) or with needs related to Autism Spectrum (ASD), developmental delays in communication and social skills and/or behavioral and sensory issues.  An advantage of this program is that the child does not need a formal ASD diagnosis to join a PlayConnect Playgroup and siblings (0- 6 years) are also welcome to participate.

 

Legal Aid WA

Legal Aid WA is the public face of the Legal Aid Commission of Western Australia.

They are the largest provider of legal aid services in Western Australia, with around 300 lawyers and support staff in 9 offices covering Perth and regional WA.

Concessions WA

ConcessionsWA is an easy-to-use online resource where you can search by category, concession card type or people group to find details on more than 100 rebates, concessions and subsidy schemes provided by the Government of Western Australia.

 

WA Companion Card

The Companion Card is for people with a significant and permanent disability, who require attendant care support in order to participate at community venues and activities are always going to need a high level of care to get to community based activities.

 

Qantas Carer Concession Card

The Qantas Carer Concession Card is issued to people with  significant support requirements who through a physical, sensory, intellectual, cognitive or psycho-social disability are unable to travel on the aircraft without the full time assistance of a carer.
