Child Diagnostic (0-11yrs)

Families seeking a diagnosis can access a timely appointment along with advice and support throughout the diagnostic process. Our diagnostic clinic we offer an assessment with highly trained Autism Diagnosticians. With a paediatrician’s referral, ISADD’s psychologists are able to conduct a comprehensive Autism Assessment. Once the Autism Assessment is complete, our clinicians will put together a comprehensive report and liaise with your referring paediatrician. There are a number of steps in obtaining funding via NDIS. Staff at ISADD can help guide you with the processes involved.

Adolescent and Adult Diagnosis (12+yrs)

Adolescents and adults seeking a diagnosis are asked to obtain a Psychiatrist’s referral to see one of our highly trained Clinical Psychologists who specialises in diagnosis for ages 12+. A Speech Pathologist may also be required to conduct a speech and language assessment as part of the diagnostic process if there are specific concerns in that area. Once the Autism Assessment is complete, our Clinical Psychologist will put together a comprehensive report and liaise with your referring clinician.
